Minden Medical Center has modified its visitor restrictions and normal visiting hours have resumed (8:00 AM – 9:00 PM). Visitors being allowed to visit a patient care unit may be screened for respiratory illness upon entrance to the facility, during times of increased transmission. ALL visitors must adhere to hospital guidelines and should not visit if you are sick. Visitors should remain in the patient’s room as much as possible and will be encouraged to participate in Bedside Shift Report with the patient and nurses to be knowledgeable of the plan of care for the patient.
Please note: Visitor guidelines may vary for each department and patient based on recommendations of doctors and nurses. COVID-19 positive patients and patients waiting on COVID-19 test results will still have visitor restrictions.
